We are open all year long. Whenever you are in the mood for a friendly bed and breakfast you can book a room in one of our rooms. Our rates and policies change throughout the year to reflect the season. So be sure to check with us depending on what time you wanted to come and visit. The rates also change depending on the room you wish to stay in. We have five different rooms that accommodate a different amount of people and come with their own amenities. Our five rooms available to book are:

The "Frequent Beacher" is when you stay 6 nights, you get 1 night free! This is a cumulative record and does not mean you have to stay 6 consecutive nights. Great for people who come and visit a few times here and there. And these points never expire, so even if you make it a yearly visit, you will still get those points.
We do also offer rain insurance. This is if it rains for more than 4 hours on any full day of your stay here. We will give you a $40 voucher that is good for your next visit. This is limited to one voucher per party, per stay.
We require a three night minimum stay on weekends in July and August, as well as on holiday weekends. If you cannot meet these requirements, then you can "bank it." This is when you pay for three nights, but can only stay two. The third night is "banked" and can be linked for a future reservation. It never expires.
Our renowned New Jersey bed and breakfast is just the place for anybody who needs a break from the day-to-day stresses of life. We offer a wide range of amenities that are perfect for a couple's getaway, as well as for the whole family. Minerva's By The Sea is located on a quiet residential block in Barnegat Light. We are only a few blocks away from Barnegat Lighthouse State Park and the beach.
